The Fellhof Premium Sheepskin Pram Footmuff is one of the larger Fellhof designs making it long lasting as your baby grows. The premium is also widely compatible with larger prams e.g. Bugaboo, iCandy, Cybex and Uppababy - with vertical harness openings it is easy to slot the straps through whether your pram has a fixed 3 point or 5 point harness. This is the only footmuff that has a shaped 'seat' area sewn in which hugs the frame well and helps prevent any slippage.
100cm x 47cm - suitable for up to 3yrs+ depending on the size of your child
The Fellhof Premium works well in the Bugaboo Chameleon, Buffalo, Donkey and Fox and will work with older versions of these models that have a 3 point harness. It is also a good fit for the Mamas & Papas Flip XT, Mountain Buggy, Uppababy Vista (original and V2), Cybex Priam and the iCandy Peach. It is better suited to larger frames as it is one of the bigger footmuffs we stock. For this reason it does not work well with more compact models such as the Bugaboo Bee, iCandy Raspberry or the Babyzen Yoyo - for smaller models the Fellhof Classic would be a much better fit.

Fellhof sheepskin is subjected to the strictest OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tests - this includes not only the sheepskin but the outer fabric, sewing threads, inlays and non-textile accessories such as buttons, zippers, rivets, etc. Fellhof source their sheepskin from Europe. Their suppliers adhere to strict European legislation and their fleeces are sourced from herds that roam freely and are not intensively farmed. Their sheepskins are eco-tanned and OEKO-TEX certified which ensures that the process is completely chrome free and freee from any other harmful substances – important not only for your baby but also for the environment.
Naturally thermostatic, sheepskin won’t only keep your baby cosy in winter but will also keep them cool in summer. In the winter and cooler months, the sheepskin provides warmth as the fibres capture and retain heat created by the body. On warmer days, the wool allows a flow of air next to the body and absorbs moisture keeping your child feeling cool and comfortable.
Kind on sensitive skin, sheepskin has naturally occuring lanolin in the fleece which is a natural moisturiser, so helps sooth and comfort baby's skin. Our shorn hair lambskins from all our suppliers are medically tanned and all our long hair rugs are eco-tanned, meaning they are free from any harmful chemicals to keep baby safe.
Sheepskin is naturally self cleaning, lanolin is packed with self-cleaning properties if left to hang in the air. This makes it a natural dirt repellent and has anti-bacterial properties, reducing the need for harsh chemical cleaning products.
Helping baby sleep, offering extra comfort and support due to its breathable qualities and gentle textures. Dense wool fibres ensure that lambskins absorb pressure without flattening, and many parents have found that their babies manage to get more rest as a result!
Anti-bacterial qualities of sheepskin reduce instances of germs and illness and resist soiling, but further research in Germany has indicated that the microbes found in lambskin can also boost the immune system and reduce chances of developing asthma later in life.
Washing: washing machine or hand wash with mild, PH-neutral wool detergent or our special lambskin shampoo at max. 30 ° C. Spin gently to remove excess water.
Drying: Dry the footmuff spread out flat in an airy place. Pull the lambskin into shape while it is still damp. Do not dry in direct sunlight or near artificial heat sources (e.g. heating). Do not tumble dry!
General care: Regular brushing and shaking will help keep the lambskin soft and fluffy.
If your footmuff has any magnetic strips please remove them before washing!
