A New Partnership with DEBRA: Helping Little Ones with EB
Here at Baa Baby, we’ve always believed in providing the best for your little ones – from cosy sheepskin pram liners to super soft lambskin booties, all made with love and care. But today, we’re excited to share something that goes beyond just making great products. It’s something that’s really close to our hearts, and we hope it’ll mean just as much to you as it does to us.
What exactly is EB
We’ve teamed up with DEBRA, the UK national medical research charity and patient support organisation for people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as ‘butterfly skin’. It’s a rare and extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition that causes the skin to be extremely fragile, blistering and tearing at even the slightest touch. It’s heartbreaking to think about, and it’s exactly why we wanted to get involved.
Why we chose DEBRA
We chose to partner with DEBRA because they are dedicated to supporting children and families with this condition. For babies and children with EB, every little touch can cause pain and distress. Sheepskin, known for its softness and gentle texture, can provide some comfort and protection by reducing friction. It’s a small, but meaningful way we can offer a bit of relief to those little ones affected by this cruel disease
What We're Doing Together
As part of this partnership, we’re excited to be gifting a New Baby Gift Bundle to babies born with EB. This bundle includes.
